Sukup Manufacturing is the only company to use this method in Mixed Flow dryers.
Drying takes place in the upper sections of Sukup Mixed Flow dryers. Suction cooling occurs in the lower screened sections. Suction cooling recovers heat during the cooling process, making Sukup Mixed Flow dryers more fuel-efficient than other dryers and traditional pressure-cooled dryers.
Sukup Mixed Flow dryers use about half the air flow per bushel and hold nearly twice as many bushels as traditional cross-flow dryers. This results in improved grain quality and energy efficiency.
